Background & Certifications

As a Career Redesign Specialist I inspire and inform women to discover their value and design a career and life that they love. I use consulting, coaching, training, speaking & writing to engage and advocate for women navigating their professional and personal path through life. As an ACC Accredited Coach with the International Coach Federation, I use the Results Coaching System™, a unique brain-based coaching methodology developed by the Neuroleadership Institute, that is based on neuroscience, process focused and outcome driven. My earlier career in healthcare (Occupational Therapist) and Human Resources (20 years in consulting and training) provide the perfect foundation for working with people and organisations to achieve their best.

Coaching Clientele

My clients include lawyers and professionals from a range of disciplines and industries such as publishing, marketing, media and engineering.

Most of the lawyers I have worked with have experience at Associate level or higher in law firms and/or have worked as in house lawyers. Some want to return to work in the legal field while others are looking to pivot to a new opportunity in a different industry. I find that women with a legal background have wonderful transferable skills that many employers value highly.

Coaching Process

I begin every coaching relationship with a complimentary strategy session (in person, over the phone or via the web). During this session we ‘get to know each other’ to make sure it ‘feels right’ as well as exploring your situation and personal vision to design a coaching program that meets your needs and circumstances.

Expectations & Benefits

Clients will reap great rewards when they fully engage in the coaching process and commit to completing work before, during and after our sessions. I typically ask clients to complete about 3-4 hours of pre-work before our first full session and there will always be things to think about or actions to take in between sessions. An open mind and an open heart will create space for transformational growth.

Background Information on Clients

I do not typically seek background information from others regarding my clients. The coaching relationship is usually private and confidential. However, there are some circumstances where an organization is sponsoring the coaching program which may require interactions with colleagues and line managers. The nature of this is always agreed upon with the organization and client (coachee) in advance.

Case Studies

MAGGIE

Maggie had taken a 12 year career break to raise her family and move within the U.S. Her goal was to return to work as an in house lawyer. During our work together, Maggie completed the Runway Program (a 3 month program preparing for networking and interviewing).
During Runway, Maggie:
● Created clarity around her vision and goal
● Discovered her values, strengths and skills
● Designed the fundamentals of her perfect job
● Refreshed her resume to make it current and reflect her career break and volunteer contributions
● Built her LinkedIn profile and learnt to use it for job search and networking
● Created her elevator pitch
● Built confidence and language around who she was and where she wanted to go.

Maggie is now actively networking and interviewing for her ideal job.

CATHERINE

Catherine was a marketing professional and was looking to return to work. She had a career idea that she was keen to pursue, but after an eight-year stint as a stay-at-home mother, she lacked confidence in her own abilities and also doubted whether she could compete with younger, more digitally-savvy marketers. Coaching gave Catherine the permission and space to explore her ideas, discover her values, skills and strengths and design her perfect job. Within six months, Catherine created her own copywriting and digital marketing business, working from home during the hours that suit her family requirements, doing something that she loves. No more stressful corporate deadlines or late night commutes.

The single most important factor that leads to a successful coaching relationship

I heartily encourage clients to be themselves. To be truthful and honest. Authenticity is the key.

Fee Structure & Ranges

Fees vary for each program. During the complimentary strategy session I can explain this in full.
